The Fitness Buff is proud to be a sponsor of the 13th annual Sneaker Streaker 5K race, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at the Paradise Lakes clothing-optional resort at 8 a.m.

We received a tremendous response from our 12th annual event, held Nov. 18, 2006, under the direction of Fitness Buff co-host Sabrina Vizzari for the first time. With the 2007 date falling earlier on the calendar, you can count on warmer weather to run nude - if you dare.

If you've ever wanted to visit Paradise Lakes, now you have an excuse. Your race fee also grants you all-day access to the resort. There will be a great post-race party and three-deep awards in standard age categories, male and female. Fitness Buff sponsors 3Bar and Boston Bill Sunglasses, along with Body Construction Personal Trainers, are among the race sponsors.

Best of all, the race director is Sabrina, who used to promote a clothing-optional run at a nearby nudist resort that typically drew 400 to 500 runners in the late 1990s.

Since we launched The Fitness Buff in 2005, we've heard from a lot of people who've thought about visiting Paradise Lakes. Here's your chance. Since the race is clothing-optional, you can wear as little or as much as you like. Hope to see you there!
